Building world-class science and tech infrastructure to meet UK ambitions

Last week the government launched its Science and Technology Framework with the ambition to make the UK a science and technology superpower by 2030.  Part of this is about creating a pro-innovation culture throughout the UK’s public sector to improve the way our public services run, with an initial raft of projects worth around £500 million in new and existing funding.

These projects are about increasing research and innovation infrastructure capacity across all regions of the UK, with additional investment internationally to meet the ambition.

We are not short of good examples here in the UK that can guide on best practice. These are multi-stakeholder projects that deliver on innovative procurement and construction management.
